The surrounding scenery and landscape is what makes a wedding so utterly magical and memorable and here at Burgh Island, we have what it takes to go above and beyond to make your wedding day the best. Located in beautiful South Devon, our wonderfully wild island is surrounded by luscious glistening blue ocean and golden sand – the perfect backdrop for those all-important wedding photo opportunities.
Burgh Island is dedicated to your ceremony, celebrations and parties. This is undoubtedly one of the most romantic locations in England: a Hotel and a Smuggler’s Inn set on a tidal island, surrounded by sea, sunshine and drama, and at low tide, accessible over the virgin beach. Exclusive use of the Hotel for your wedding includes up to 25 rooms (50 guests) for dinner, bed and breakfast. We have space in our ballroom for an additional 15 non-resident guests (at £75.00 per head).
The cost for exclusive use of Burgh Island for your Devon wedding venue is: Sunday–Thurs: From £20,000, Fri–Sat: From £46,000. Please email [email protected] for any further information or for details of any out of season offers that may be available.

We will work with you on: Advance planning, menu tasting, supervision and advice on your music and entertainment plans, parking on the mainland, transport across the beach and priority check in for the wedding couple and their parents.
