An unforgettable and unique dining experience on an extraordinary island
The Nettlefold pays homage to a distinctive character whose vision for the hotel is responsible for the unique and legendary status the island holds today. Archibald Nettlefold was the hotel’s founder, theatre producer and film maker. It was he who commissioned the design of the iconic Burgh Island Hotel, and who pioneered this Art Deco wonder.

Literally an experience to remember. And the “small plates” are not small so you basically get a full lunch. Our trip was a test and it passed with flying colours – so we’ll be staying next time!!
