The hotel offers 25 magnificent rooms for up to 70 guests, with additional room in the Ballroom for 15 non-residential guests. Wedding packages for your special day
Whenever you join us, we will provide you with a fantastic stay. Burgh Island offers one of the most perfect small wedding venues in Devon with fabulous packages. The cost for exclusive use of Burgh Island for your Devon wedding venue is: Sunday–Thursday: From £20,000, Fri–Sat: From £46,000.
For Friday and Saturday bookings we require a 2 night minimum booking. Included in your package you will have an incredible wedding meal, evening buffet and a decadent breakfast the next morning, as well as a fabulous wine list, your very own signature cocktail curated by our creative bar staff, and of course the perfect opportunity to pamper. Our spa therapist will be available to provide relaxation and rejuvenation to the wedding party, offering massages, hot stone therapies, deep tissue massages and plenty other treatments before and after the wedding day.

Conveniently located in South Devon
South Devon is the home of the renowned Burgh Island. Our nearest towns are Bigbury-on-Sea and Challaborough. Arriving by car is easy, simply arrive at our Bigbury-on-Sea beach and our famous island sea tractor will provide transport to guests for the perfect first impression. If you or your guests are arriving by train, the nearest stations are Totnes, Ivybridge and Plymouth. Alternatively, if you’re flying into sunny South Devon, the nearest airport is Exeter and if you’re planning on arriving in extreme style, please contact our reception to arrange your arrival on our helipad.
For transport when on the island we like to recommend the taxi company Wembury Cars to ensure all of our guests and yours are safely looked after and receive the best experience possible.
