Terms

• Room rates are quoted per room per night. All rates include breakfast, parking in our mainland car park, transfers to and from the Island and VAT. We also have packages that include an evening meal in either the Nettlefold or Ballroom.

  Any Saturday night needs to be a two night booking (and there are some restrictions on bank holidays).

  We take a 25% deposit on booking, which is not refundable in the event of cancellation.

  In the event of cancellation within one week of arrival the full amount of the tariff will be due.

  Both the Hotel and The Pilchard are non smoking areas, including all bedrooms.

  Children aged 5-12 can dine in the Pilchard Inn. Children aged 13 and over can dine in The Pilchard Inn or in the Ballroom. Black tie dress code applies in the Ballroom.

  We are delighted to welcome pets in our Artist Studio and the Beach House at a daily charge of £25 per pet, per night. Your pets are allowed on Burgh Island grounds all year around and are allowed from 1st Sep – 31st March on the beach. During high season, dogs are only allowed on the left side of the beach (towards Challaborough which is on the left-hand side looking towards the mainland in the summer. Please keep your dog on the lead.

  As the hotel is small, we limit our group bookings to a maximum of 5 rooms, to keep the house party atmosphere alive for all guests.  We do not take group bookings of more than 10 guests (5 rooms) unless you book exclusive use of the whole hotel.   This is to preserve the house party atmosphere for our other guests.
