COVID-19

  • The Government have advised from Friday 10 December, face coverings will be legally required in most public indoor venues, including public areas of hotels. In order to protect both our team members and our guests, our team will be wearing face coverings at Burgh Island and we politely request that our guests do the same when in any public areas of the hotel. As always, face coverings can be removed when sat at a table or when outdoors.

You will continue to see hand sanitisation points around the hotel and our team will continue to follow all cleaning protocols to keep us Covid-secure.

As you will appreciate, our aim is to maintain a covid safe environment that guests and team members feel comfortable and happy in. We will continue to regularly review this in line with government guidance.

We kindly ask that you do not visit Burgh Island if you are suffering from any of the newly assigned potential symptoms of Covid-19, or if you have tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 14 days.

As we head into a busy period, please stay safe everyone and we look forward to welcoming you all to Burgh Island.

Andrew, Kati and all the team
