    For the notable art collectors, the Burgh Artist Residence is held by the wonderful Emma Carter Bromfield. During your stay on Burgh Island, embrace your inner artist and enjoy an opportunity to learn more about Emma’s work and perhaps take a piece of her collection home with you.     Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night one of our house bands will entertain you in our Ballroom. You are not obliged to dance, but you may be tempted! Live piano music accompanies all other evenings.

  • 1920's Couture

    To fully immerse yourself in the roaring Twenties experience at Burgh Island, dressing for the occasion certainly adds serious Art Deco glamour to cocktail hour or a romantic dinner in the Grand Ballroom. We’ve partnered up with 1920’s Couture to help our guests fall in love with the most beautifully restored vintage 1920’s attire. 1920’s Couture will be attending select events throughout the year and will be on hand to prepare guests for the fabulous night ahead.
