FESTIVE WREATH WORKSHOP
Join us for a joyful afternoon of creativity and seasonal charm on Tuesday, 25th November 2025.
Arrive at 12:15pm to a welcoming tea and coffee buffet in the Nettlefold Restaurant before settling in for a hands-on wreath-making session beginning at 12:30pm. Guided by Caroline from Rose Cottage Flowers, you’ll craft your own beautiful wreath to take home, surrounded by festive cheer.
In the afternoon, enjoy a well-deserved cream tea served in the cosy Captain’s Cabin by the fireplace. The afternoon winds down gently, finishing by 4pm, leaving you with a handcrafted wreath and a heart full of festive spirit.

When you arrive on Christmas Eve, our Christmas elves will welcome you with a glass of your favourite tipple, followed by dinner in a restaurant of your choice with the sound of classic Christmas music in the air. Presents will be placed under the tree and stockings hung, ready to retrieve on Christmas morning.
On Christmas Day, The Nettlefold Restaurant will host a festive breakfast. Our famous Christmas lunch will be held in The Grand Ballroom after cocktails and canapes in the Palm Court Bar, followed by a selection of delicious platters for a buffet supper.
To top off your trip, the Boxing Day itinerary is full of your favourites, including our Christmas quiz, afternoon tea, and our timeless Boxing Day Ball, where guests are asked to dress their best and dance the night away to the music of the Red Fez Orchestra.

This festive season, treat yourself to a touch of island indulgence. For £55 per person, non-residents can savour a decadent Burgh Island Hotel Afternoon Tea, complete with seasonal delights, sweet treats, and a little Christmas sparkle in our beautiful Art Deco surroundings.
For an extra touch of cheer, why not toast the occasion with our Champagne Afternoon Tea for £70 per person? The same exquisite experience, elevated with bubbles and festive joy. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options are also available.
