Spa Therapist

Full-time, Permanent £9.50ph - £10.50ph See More

We are looking for a qualified spa therapist to provide professional and engaging beauty therapies and massage treatments to our clients. You will offer a full range of treatments including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures to fulfil different client needs and objectives in a safe and comfortable manner.

  • Carry out beauty treatments to the required standards ensuring specific treatment time is adhered to.
  • Liaise in a positive and constructive manner with the Spa Manager/ Duty Manager and receptionists on the days scheduled treatments, any changes, additions etc. in order to meet the ever changing needs of our guests.  Flexibility and cooperation are required.
  • Ensure that equipment is fully operational and clean and report any defects to maintenance
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations by using safe work practices.
  • Turn off equipment and lights after use.
  • Ensure all equipment and utensils are appropriately sterilised.
  • Inform Spa Manager/ Duty manager and reception of any medical conditions or behaviour from guests that is unusual or causes concern e.g. skin condition, bruising etc.
  • Assist in the cleaning and tidying of the treatment areas.
  • Ensure your room is fully prepared and stocked before your first treatment.
  • Report any incidents, accidents or any guest dissatisfaction to the Spa Manager/ Duty Manager promptly.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as delegated by the Hotel Management Team, Managing Director and Company Owners.
  • Lead by example in all areas
  • Ensure policies and procedures are clearly communicated and adhered to
  • Maintain positive employee relations
  • Provide a consistent high standard of customer service
  • Ensure complaints are dealt promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure COSHH file is kept up to date and training renewed
  • Ensure client consultations are carried out prior to administering treatments
  • Ensure the Spa areas are clean and well maintained
