An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Drivers team at the iconic Burgh Island Hotel. We are now looking for passionate people that would like to join the fantastic team to deliver an excellent and memorable experience to all of our guests.

Our Drivers are an essential part of the team and the first people our guests meet when arriving for their stay at Burgh Island Hotel.

REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a full UK Driving licence
• Preferably have driving experience (although full training will be provided)

JOB DUTIES

• Driving the Iconic Burgh Island Sea Tractor from Island to Mainland across the beach to pick up/drop off arriving and departing guests, as well as public day visitors to the island
• Driving the hotel Land Rover’s from Island to Mainland across the beach to pick up/drop off arriving and departing guests
• Collecting and Delivering Guest luggage to/from hotel rooms
• Collecting Laundry and stock deliveries from the mainland drop off area and bringing to the hotel
• Assist guests with any queries and help they may have or need
• Keeping all vehicles clean and tidy
• Maintaining a clean and clear hotel driveway and entrance at all times

SCHEDULE

• 8 hour shift
• 40 hours per week
