Burgh Island is a world famous, iconic hotel with an amazing reputation for service, food and an out of this world experience. Our vision for the next 5 years is to become a world class destination, winning accolades and striving to improve our reputation at all times. As part of this vision, we are looking for an Executive Chef to become a fundamental part of a well-established and hard-working leadership team. You may already be working in a 3 Rosette, or Michelin environment and looking to make a step up to Exec – or you could be an Exec Chef looking for a change of direction - one which you can bring your creativity and influence to so as to lift our food and beverage offer to the next level.

This is possibly one of the most exciting roles in the Country right now and will certainly become one of its most high profile. We want to build on our fame and reputation, and to find new and innovative ways to delight our guests. Our chosen candidate will be passionate about flavours and ingredients, sustainability and have a good reputation of their own in maintaining and managing a calm and happy kitchen. With three separate restaurants and a wide F&B offer generally, you should be able to create exciting and commercially viable menus for our resident and non-resident guests. Ideally you will be happy in front of a camera and talking to various publications as press is a huge focus for us both locally and nationally.

3 Rosette or 1 Michelin Star experience
Previous experience in similar role
