A unique opportunity has arisen to join the team at the iconic Burgh Island Hotel as Housekeeping Supervisor.
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained in all guest bedrooms and public areas. You will also be responsible for ensuring budgeted costs are maintained and wastage reduced.
Duties include the preparation of rotas for the housekeeping department to ensure sufficient daily cover and ensuring that other housekeepers are aware of the hotel’s high standards.
You’ll also manage internal and external laundry, including regular stock takes and daily stock control, also ordering supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products and maintain departmental records.
Our Housekeeping Supervisor works closely with the reception and sales teams to ensure any special requirements, such as VIP guests, extra beds or cots are known and actioned.
You’ll also liaise with reception and maintenance to ensure that any repairs are reported and fixed as soon as possible.
