Since
1929 our famous and sometimes notorious guests have enjoyed utter peace, space
for themselves, room to think and their own regular seat in the Palm Court Bar.
Some guests left more than a pair of silk pyjamas; where we can establish a
local connection each room bears the name of a visiting ghost.
Mementoes of the Jazz Age are everywhere. Check in: take a cocktail or a nap;

linen, retro radios, luscious chocolates and bespoke soft furnishings. Our
marble bathrooms all have fluffy white towels and chic REN toiletries. You
can also look forward to unusual and authentic furniture, original pictures,
news clippings and archive photographs. After our 6 year restoration project
we are proud of our beautiful hotel and hope that you, our guests, enjoy its
authenticity and charm.

island looking for seals and dolphins, rare sea birds off the Island cliffs;
sunbathe on the terraces or finish your stroll with a pint in The Pilchard
and watch the tides meet over the sunlit beach.
Our rooms are all different in size and colour but all have the luxuries a
21st century flapper might expect: crisp Beltramé
